Element X

Element X is a 2D, fast-paced, action-packed bullet-hell game that has the player take control of their own spacecraft and battle factions across different regions of space. Players collect what they can salvage from the remnants of their foes to gain some heavy firepower, combine elements from these enemies to create unique weapons.

This was a team project that was made whilst utilising the scrum framework, we had 2 week sprints where at the end of each sprint, our team had to present updates to the game and recieve and iterate on feedback given from the producer. Personally, I took on a lot of the programming and art issues and focused on creating multiple functionalties for the player including their weapons as well as enemy behaviours and patterns. We utilised JIRA to track and manage our time.
